If you've followed my journey for a while, you've known this space as tarotbycrystal.com, a place for divination, art, and the esoteric. It has been a sacred corner of the internet where I’ve shared my love for the tarot, business, and entrepreneurship. Today, I'm thrilled to announce a significant and deeply personal transformation: tarotbycrystal.com is officially becoming the home of Wort & Wand.

This isn't a farewell to tarot; far from it. My tarot reading services and my passion for the cards are still here. They are the very soul of this space. Instead, this change is about bringing all the parts of my life—the seen and the unseen—into one harmonious whole. This is a story of union, born from an unexpected loss.

My previous Instagram account, where I shared so many of my daily insights and creative titbits, was unexpectedly shut down. The loss of that community and all the content I had built was a painful lesson in digital vulnerability. It made me realize that my true creative sanctuary and the safest place for my work and my community is right here, on my own website. Here, my voice, my content, and my connection to you can never be taken away.

This new chapter for my website is a homecoming to a passion that has been with me my entire life. While many of you know me as a tarot reader and an art and business enthusiast (a passion I continue to honor through my work with Artemisia Fine Arts & Antiques), I have always been a devoted student of nature. I am a Druidess at heart, a lifelong worshipper of the wild, and deeply connected to the wisdom of the plant kingdom.

And now, I am making that connection official. I’m incredibly excited to announce that I have begun my journey to become a licensed Phytotherapist at the Heartwood Education. This is a long path—a five-year course—but I am ready for it. As I progress, this blog will become a place for me to share my discoveries, my reflections, and the beautiful knowledge I gain about the healing power of plants.

Wort & Wand is the perfect name for this new adventure. "Wort" is an old word for a plant or herb, and "Wand" represents the mystical tool of the magician, the will of the practitioner, and the very wands of the tarot suit. It’s a name that perfectly encapsulates the merger of the earthly and the divine.
